We are, from left to right: Marie Butterfield, Elliott Butterfield and me, Barny Butterfield. I began making cider commercially in 2003, but my love affair with the apple tree began when I was old enough to climb one, blossomed when I was old enough to scrump, and has now borne fruit with our own cider business.

Marie helped with the first big batch of cider several years ago, and probably due to the effects of an especially strong cider that year and my relentless hounding eventually married me.

Elliott is our son. Currently Elliott prefers the apples before they are squashed and fermented. This year we will be adding apple juices to our list of products - so watch this space.
