A still cider, and as dry as it gets. Extremely traditional cider, really good with strong cheese or fatty meats, and superb as a cooking cider. Straw pressing is a craft which is hanging on in very few places, but not to be bettered according to the purists.

JUICES

Single variety apple juice
When the apples are fully ripened on the bough we hand pick and press them in one day to capture absolutely all of their abundant flavour. Each variety we select for its particular style, Falstaff for crispness, Sweet Copin for body, Jonagold for richness and Browns for lip-smacking sharpness.
Westcountry apple Juice
A fantastic recipe used for our most popular juice. We grow over 50 varieties of apple, from bittersharp to pure sweet, apples which on their own have superb flavour and interest, but together become an orchestra of aromas. Buy a bottle and drink an orchard.

Apple and Elderflower
Picked in early summer the Elderflower is the most subtle and fragrant addition to our apple juice. We make an infusion from the flower heads and add it as we bottle the juice. For a cooling long drink in the afternoon sun its hard to beat.
Apple and Blackberry
If the Elderflower is the taste of early summer, then late summer arrives with the blackberry. We think this is the fruitiest drink we’ve every tasted, the only problem we have is not eating all the blackberries before they go into the juice.

Traditional Lemonade
A true bygone favourite, and very hard to find. Made with fresh lemons and sugar to a Victorian recipe, its always a delight to see people try our lemonade – seeing the special twinkle in the eye when they are catapulted right back to their childhood by the taste is a privilege.
Traditional Ginger Beer
Another Victorian recipe, using fresh ginger and a traditional ginger beer plant. Using fresh ginger gives the ginger beer a real natural warmth and long finish, because it is brewed it is very slightly alcoholic, and has a pleasant tingling sparkle.
Cider Apple Vinegar
True cider vinegar is a rare and genuine treat. It should be made straight from fresh juice, it should be slow fermented into a cider, blended for taste and then slowly 'mothered' and aged into a mature vinegar. Ours is.
