When our apple cart fell into Ma' Frobisher's fruit cage there was hell to pay. Pa' Frobisher took two weeks to repair the damage, the tipsy wagon driver got a lesson from the law and a serious quantity of apples had to be picked up for a second time. But as is the way here in Devon the story has a happy ending. The berries squashed in the accident ended up in bumbling farmer Butterfield's best cider ever.  Apples, Strawberries, Blackcurrants, Raspberries and Blackberries - marvelous fruit cider.
