Apple Wood Pen & Pencil Set

If you’re looking for a truly unique gift look no further. These beautiful hand-turned, refillable apple wood pens and propelling pencils are each one of a kind, crafted by Keith Edwards, Emeritus Professor of Genomics at the University of Bristol.

We first met Keith while working together on our DNA project to rediscover lost and forgotten apple varieties. Since retiring, he’s turned his craftsmanship to creating these stunning writing sets using apple wood sustainably harvested from our own orchards and carefully seasoned for around a year. Once turned, both the pen & pencil have been finished with beeswax from our fantastic local bees.
